Luka experienced a unique childhood, quite different from most kids. Coming from a family spread across the world, he developed a very close relationship with his immediate family. Luka's first adventure began at just two months old, when he took his first flight to Paris. This preliminary excursion set the tone for a life filled with travel. Traveling the world and living in three countries and two states gave Luka a distinctive perspective on different societies and cultures.
Luka Thetard's family history traces back to William the Conqueror, a Frenchman who became King of England in 1066 and one of the most powerful leaders of his time. The Thetard family name carries a long and storied history in France, continuing through Luka's father as a second-generation immigrant. Among the family heirlooms was a clock, crafted in duplicate—one of which was owned by Napoleon Bonaparte, the other by Luka's great-grandfather.
To date, Luka has traveled to 14 countries, 35 states, and 12 national parks. Traveling is one of the most significant parts of his life, and he embraces every new experience and place he has the opportunity to explore. Luka’s ultimate travel goals include visiting every national park, every state, and every country in the world.
Luka has been an athlete for as long as he can remember. Inspired by his father's dedication to lifting and becoming a black belt, Luka decided to focus more on his health and fitness during the 2020 pandemic. Since then, he has consistently trained, achieving a max squat of 355 lbs, a max bench of 225 lbs, and a mile time of 6:35! Luka ran his first half-marathon in September 2024 and he plans to run his first full marathon in Spring 2025.

BrickBbrick began as a small hustle to make extra money by selling off old LEGO minifigures. Recognizing the rapid demand for these collectibles, Luka reinvested his initial profits back into acquiring more minifigures. With his innovative approach and understanding of eCommerce, he quickly became one of eBay’s top-performing LEGO sellers, consistently generating substantial profits, reaching well over $6,000 a month.
